Happy are the Merciful
"Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy." Matthew 5:7
Being merciful towards others when everything within you wants revenge or at least a little bit of justice is a hard call. But that is what Jesus asks of us and He ties it to we ourselves receiving God's mercy. God is merciful towards us, and He calls us to extend that mercy to others. To learn more about the happiness that comes from being merciful, read the articles below, based on Matthew 5:38-48.

Be More Merciful Than the Old Testament Law (Devotional Day 19)
Be More Merciful Than Man's Law (Devotional Day 20)
Be Merciful With Your Possessions (Devotional Day 21)
Be Merciful to All, Even to Your Enemies (Devotional Day 22)
Please read the articles above one at a time, with an open Bible, open heart, and open mind. Then pray and take action as the Lord leads. And if you wouldn't mind leaving your thoughts, questions, and testimonies on the Comments page it would be much appreciated. By doing so you can be a blessing to others and help me make this site better. Thanks and God bless!
